Know Before You Go!!
If you think the hardest part traveling is sitting in a tight space with disgruntled travelers, then think again! The U.S. travel laws are in constant revision and regulations are getting more stringent.
1) Real ID Act - Is Your State Compliant? Beginning January 22, 2018, certain state IDs will no longer permit you to board a domestic flight. Currently over half of U.S. States and territories have received extensions until October 10, 2017. It is unclear at this time if they will receive further extensions. You can avoid the uncertainty of your state’s status by using a passport in lieu of a valid state. Avoid the stress, and renew your passport today.
2) New TSA Screening Procedures All U.S. airports will soon require all passengers to place any electronics larger than a cell phone in separate bins for x-ray screening. This enhanced security measure is in response to the possibility that terrorists may be able to hide explosives in electronic devices. As TSA raises their security measures, ensure you are traveling as safely as possible.
