The Retreat Center

One full week of complete immersion in a rural Costa Rican eco-retreat and wellness center. We must be conscious to minimize our impact on the earth’s ecosystems, especially in a place with so much diversity as Costa Rica. Virtually 5-6% of all the plant and animal species on the earth are found here. The owners and staff of the retreat center are dedicated to protecting the natural environment, to reducing waste and conserving, reusing and recycling resources. Even before the new owners took over the hotel in 2006, the previous owners took care not to cut down any big trees or fruit trees to construct the lodge and buildings there.

-  It’s a life-enhancing guest facility nestled on 8 acres in the Costa Rican mountains 1 hour west of the capital city of San Jose and 1      hour north of the Central Pacific Beaches.

-  Beautiful and serene; It’s a tranquil mountain respite from everyday life.

-  It’s elevation is 2000 feet which creates an ideal climate between 62-84 degrees year round.

-  The resort lies on the winding but wonderfully pothole-free Highway 27, 19 kilometers past Puriscal toward Orotina, about an            hour drive southwest from San José and 1 hour north of the Central Pacific Beaches in the San Pablo Province of San Jose

-  A paradise surrounded by nature and beautiful trees, birds and butterflies
